March Meeting – Back From OZ – Converting to Black and White

In these days of digital color and high definition images we can forget about the subtle beauty of Black and White photography. Black and white still has its place and, for some images, is the better method for viewing. Photoshop and Lightroom go way beyond the “convert to grayscale” command! Come on down to the March meeting. Gene McCullagh (your humble Group Manager and Adobe Community Professional) will walk us through the conversion process.

  • Why Black and White?
  • Isn’t convert to grayscale all I need?
  • Converting in Photoshop
  • Converting in Lightroom
  • Using selective color in a Black and White image
  • Third party tools for Black and White

So make your way back from OZ. Bring your questions. If you have an image you want to convert bring it along and we can work on it as an example.

See you then!
