IE7 harms Dreamweaver site definitions?

Via John Dowdell:

"the new Microsoft browser is part of the operating system, and as Trond Ulseth found, installing it can nuke the FTP username/password settings you might already have set in Dreamweaver."

He also includes a link to an Adobe technote posted earlier this week that addresses the issue:

Ahhh, that'd be it. Yes, I do have the 8.02 patch installed.

If you are patched up to DW 8.0.2, then you shouldn't notice the problem.

8.0.2 updater available here:

No problems here so far for me with my FTP settings in DW8. Is this something which, if it would have happend, would have done so by now, or is it something which may or may not rear its ugly head in the future?

I really like the improvements made to IE in this latest version, but the jury is still out as to whether or not it can bring me back from Firefox (especially with the latest 2.0 release).
