Good evening all.
Here are a list of resources for Adobe Training:
Video/Online
Total Training DVDs – If you prefer the CBT, due-it-yourself method, this company produces the best video series on Adobe products. Videos run anywhere from $100-300 for an individual series, but they also sell product bundles. Videos are actually DVD-ROMS with training files included.
Lynda.com – A tech writer herself, this company is now the online training leader. Deke McClelland (of Photoshop fame) recently left Total Training to produce training exclusively for Lynda. Training is offered on a subscription basis, in monthly ($25) or annual ($250) payments. You may be familiar with the Hands on Training (H.O.T.) series of books.
Instructor Led Training in Dallas
eCreative – David Evans is a former Adobe Evangelist and Product Team Lead for InDesign. His company offers a variety of services aimed at streamlining production and creative processes for ad agencies, publishers, in-house creative organizations and even freelancers. He also happens to provide Adobe training.
Media Cats, Inc. – This Dallas based training company is run by yours truly. My specialty is the Creative Suite 2, primarily Acrobat, InDesign & Photoshop. I also teach XHTML/CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks & Flash. I’ve been receiving a lot of requests to teach GoLive and I hope to offer some CS2 classes in January 2007. I train on both Windows XP and Mac OS X, with evening and weekend classes available.
Hope this information is helpful to everyone.
